Prof. Wei Zhang received his Ph.D at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). He previously worked as a Postdoc scholar at University of California, Berkeley (UC Berkeley). He is currently with the School of Control Science and Engineering, Shandong University, China.  His research interests include computer vision,deep learning, pattern recognition, and robotics.

He has published over 80 technical articles in PAMI, CVPR, ICCV, IJCAI, AAAI etc. His work was supported by US DoD, HK RGC, NSFC, Shandong Province and industry. He also holds over 10 international patents issued by US, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and China.He is the finalist of Hong Kong Young Scientist 2010 and received several best paper awards from IEEE Conferences. He served as the chair or steering committee member of international conferences such as CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, IJCAI, AAAI, ICIP, ROBIO, ICIA, ICAL, etc.
